Symptom
A Replication Flow - Delta Load from SLT into Datasphere fails for a given table with error :
Errordata could not be converted (keys: values for key fields, columns: names of failing columns): keys=[100 0L 2000 2024 1000000006 000001] columns=[IUUC_OPERATION] reason=[IUUC_OPERATION:unexpected value: string(1) has invalid length: 8] keys=[100 0L 2000 2024 1000000006 000002] columns=[IUUC_OPERATION] keys=[100 0L 2000 2024 1600000001 000001] columns=[IUUC_OPERATION] keys=[100 0L 2000 2024 1600000001 000002] columns=[IUUC_OPERATION]
A full load of this table works but the delta load fails, after INSERT/DELETE operations on the source copy of the table which resides on SAP S/4HANA On-premise.
The delta load for the same INSERT/DELETE records works fine on other related tables.
The source system is SAP S/4HANA On-premise which reads into an SLT system.
All required notes are in place on the SAP S/4HANA On-premise source system as well as on the SLT system per :
