Symptom

Error "During run for company XXX, set of books XXX, the error 'Application runtime exception; report an incident' occurred" in Lease Posting Run.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Lease Contract Management work center.
  2. Go to Lease Posting Run view.
  3. Click on New Lease Contract Posting Run.
  4. Select lease contract ABC(ABC represents the lease contract ID).
  5. Select 'Closure' in Control Parameters.
  6. Execute the run and error occurs.

Cause

One of the reason is that the relevant accounting period is blocked. By default the lease posting run for closure of a lease will try to post to the last period of the lease ended. Check the accounting period and see it is blocked or the allowed step is not '010 - Operational postings'.

Resolution

Set the relevant accounting period to '1 - Not Blocked' and change the allowed step to '010 - Operational postings'. Then perform the lease posting run again.
