3471110 - Goal Plan Template Conversion Error: This goal plan template can't be converted because it contains data of group goals.

When trying to convert a goal plan template to make it compatible to the latest goal management, receive an error:

This goal plan template can’t be converted because it contains data of group goals.

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

1. After latest Goal Management upgrade, go to manage templates to convert legacy goal plan templates.
2. Click on "convert" and follow the instructions.
3. Encounter error message during the conversion process.

Group Goals are not supported in the Latest Goal management

Customers can instead use Team Goals by following the below process:

1. Download the Group goal data for the users for the GM template with all required Goal details.
2. Delete the group goal data for the users (including Group Goal data for inactive users as well) using the Import Performance Goals tool.
3. Now convert GM template.
4. After conversion, reimport the goals as team goals & assign it to the users accordingly incase Admin want to use the same Goal data.
