How to reassign storage type / delete storage type assigned to a Plant?
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
You have created a Storage Type and it is not possible via configuration to delete or reassign the storage type.
Cause
The S/4HANA Cloud system does not support the deletion of any Org entity.
Once you have created an entity using the Organizational Structure app, you can no longer delete it. You must ensure that you add a new entity at the correct position in your organizational structure.
Resolution
You can change the description of the Storage Type to "DO NOT USE" via configuration activity (SSCUI) 102666 "Maintain Storage Types" within the App Manage your Solution.
