3471180 - Warning received while sealing LMS BizX integration

• SuccessFactors Platform to Learning integration is failing with warning
  • "This integration cannot be sealed because there were warnings during the confirmation:
    The SAP SuccessFactors Learning instance is Stage @ Preview and this instance is no longer supported. This integration cannot be sealed. For more information about Stage @ Preview"
  • "The instances you are integrating are in different environments. SAP SuccessFactors Learning is in Stage @ Preview and SAP SuccessFactors Platform instance is in Production. This integration cannot be sealed."
    
• Common Super Domain migration is failing due LMS sealing

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

While trying to seal BizX and LMS integration, it is failing with warnings, as below.

• SAP SuccessFactors does not allow a Stage @ Preview tenant to be sealed because it is not upgraded at the same time as the other instances in Preview. 
• The LMS-BizX integration sealing is a mandatory step to follow with the CSD migration.

For the above listed causes the following resolutions may apply:

• Make sure that environments that are being integrated are on the same release cycle. Do not integrate a preview BizX environment with a production release cycle Learning environment. This is improper setup which will require to redo integration.

To correct the integration between Learning and BizX, we recommend you to check this SAP Customer Community Blog Post and the KBA 3209088 - Integrating BizX and LMS Post 1H 2022 Release and perform the integration according to your business requirements. 

• As the LMS-BizX integration sealing is a mandatory step to follow with the CSD migration it will be needed to correct this behavior priorly to following the CSD migration

Please note, these steps are needed after an admin tried to seal the integration but received some errors.

After we make recommendations to correct the integration, please do this so the button to request sealing comes back.

If Integration Status = "Confirmed by Administrator" then the “Edit/Reconfirm” button is hidden. Below are the steps to complete to make the button visible again.

The process is to make an edit in the BIZX integration properties and click Apply Changes. The recommended update by Engineering is to change the IDP URL temporarily and change it back.

1. In the IDP URL remove the value of the Company ID and change to company=${successFactorsCompanyID}
2. Click Apply Changes
3. The button should reappear
4. Update the IDP URL to add back the original Company ID
5. Click Apply Changes

After you do the above you can click on the “Confirm” so that the integration gets sealed the next day.
