Symptom

Technical error 'Technical error AP_INVENTORY 054' occurs when trying to reverse a Production Confirmation.

Environment

SAP Business Bydesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Inbound Logistics work center.
  2. Go to Production Order view.
  3. Search for the production order.
  4. Edit and View All it.
  5. Go to Document Flow tab.
  6. Select the desired production confirmation.
  7. Click on Reverse Confirmation.

Error occurs: Technical error AP_INVENTORY 054

Cause

The Logistics Areas and its parent Logistics Areas in the production confirmation that needs to be reversed are maintained as none inventory management.

Resolution

The relevant Logistics Areas should be maintained as inventory management.
