3471624 - How to restrict the special characters in name for external candidates in RCM to avoid issues in E-Verify - Onboarding

The candidate is facing an error in the I-9 or E-Verify step, caused by special characters in the candidate's name.

As E-Verify only accepts normal characters in the name special characters are not be used in the name being used on I-9 and E-Verify. 

There is a separate field that EC has for Names with Special characters like first-name-alt1 that is used. 

The mapping for I-9 is what needs to be name without special characters and you can map differently using Updating the Default Mapping of Compliance Form Fields | SAP Help Portal
