3471833 - PSM Request for Product Specifications for Input Products in Production Bill of Material

You are planning to use SAP Cloud Applications Studio(SDK) to develop a ByD add-on to update the product specifications for Input Products in Production Bill of Material (BOM).
You find this field is available for the new created line from UI end. However, its PSM is no released and the Public Write Access is not opened in SDK.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data Work Center.
2. Navigate to Production Bills Of Material View.
3. Open any BOM.
4. Go to Input Product Tab.
5. Click Add button, you will understand that the field Product Specification ID can be edited for the new created row. 

We will not be able to provide PSM for PRS as there are no validations written to this field and even this field is not available in migration template or in API service ProductionBillOfMaterialManagementIn as well.

For now, this field can only be edited from ByD UI end.
