Symptom
When a user triggers "Initiate Onboarding" action from the new workbench, a generic pop-up message is received: "You’ve initiated Onboarding for this applicant. Once the process is complete, you will receive an email with the status update."
Users do not know from the UI if the candidate was eligible or not as they need to wait to receive an email to see if it was successful or not.

Reproducing the Issue
- Recruiting>Job Requisitions
- Click into Job Req
- Click into application that is ready for onboarding
- Click on 3 dots on top right hand corner
- Select "Initiate Onboarding"
- Receive generic pop-up message "You’ve initiated Onboarding for this applicant. Once the process is complete, you will receive an email with the status update."
- User does not know if this was successful or not from the UI.
Resolution
This is currently expected behaviour in H1 2024 release.
Our product management team have taken it forward for the H2 2024 release that onboarding success and failure messages will be displayed in the UI.
