3472316 - Timeout error message when connecting to Databricks source via proxy - SAP HANA Smart Data Integration

Symptom

  • Connection between the agent and the Databricks source is established via a proxy.
  • When trying to connect, timeout error message appears, even though agent host machine is allowlisted in Databricks source:
    [ERROR] [...] JdbcMetadataBrowser | ExceptionUtil.newAdapterException [] - Failed to query schemas. org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory ([Databricks][JDBCDriver](500593) Communication link failure. Failed to connect to server. Reason: com.databricks.client.jdbc42.internal.apache.http.conn.ConnectTimeoutException: Connect to <URL>:443 [<URL>] failed: connect timed out (local port <port> to address <IP Address> (<URL>), remote port 443 to address <IP Address>).)
