• Queries about the deprecation of Basic Authentication and Third-Party Corporate Identity Provider (IdP) Direct Integration with SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite 

Basic Authentication and third-party direct integration with SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite has reached end of maintenance and support on June 2, 2025 and will be deleted on November 13, 2026.

We recommend you to start the integration of SF with IAS as soon as possible to avoid any future authentication/access issues/blocks to your SuccessFactors instance.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

If customers do not migrate to the Identity Authentication Service (IAS), the basic authentication and third-party corporate IdP direct integration to SuccessFactors will:

1. After the end of maintenance (June 2, 2025):
   • Customers on basic authentication are not able to adopt the latest security and compliance requirements such as multi-factor user authentication for cloud applications.
   • They are on an old user authentication architecture or function that is unsupported and will soon be deprecated.
2. After the deprecation is complete (November 13, 2026), there will be no direct integration to SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite for customers.
