Symptom
After applying Calendar Integration, the application or ODE story is extremely slow.
Example: CalendarIntegration_1.getCalendarTaskById().getStatus();
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud Version 2024.8.6.
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a calendar task with some child tasks.
- Add the issued story/application as Work File.
- Activate the task.
- Go back to the story/application.
- Add Calendar Integration in Outline.
- Apply scripts like: CalendarIntegration_1.getCalendarTaskById().getStatus(); on Initialization.
- Save and run the story/application.
- Notice the loading time is increased.
- Open F12 development tool, can see it returns many getItem requests.
Cause
After 2024 QRC2 update, the cache of the getItem is removed.
Resolution
The fix is included in wave 2024.8.10.
