3472919 - Comp to EC Publishing result is always skipped even if the value has been correctly published

Symptom

When you publish data from Comp to EC, the result is always as follows

Entry publish details: 0 successful, 0 failed, 1 skipped. 

Compensation Info publish: 1 skipped. 
  Employee A‎: no value changes.

even if there is a value change and it has been published correctly when checked in the EC Profile

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to go Compensation Home > Select a template with a completed worksheet
  2. Go to the Profile of one of the users in you completed worksheet and ensure the data intended to be published has not yet been published
  3. Go back to the template and trigger publish
  4. Wait for the publishing to complete
  5. Go to Monitor Compensation Job and download the jobResponse of the completed publishing job
  6. Result is

...

Entry publish details: 0 successful, 0 failed, 1 skipped. 

Compensation Info publish: 1 skipped. 
  Employee A‎: no value changes.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on the below dates:

  • Preview on 2nd July
  • Production on 4th July

Workaround

Disable the feature "Enable Compensation Publish to Employee Central through the Centralized Services" under Action for all plans > Company settings. Then publish again.
