3472930 - Connections are not shown when creating Graphical or SQL Views

Symptom

When creating a Graphical View or a SQL View in Data Builder on SAP Datasphere and the connections to the source system are present and validated, the connections do not load in "Data Builder"during view creation.

Environment

SAP Datasphere
HANA Data Provisioning Agent

Cause

"Remote Table" feature is not set up via Data Provisioning Agent for the existing connections.
Creation of Graphical Views and SQL Views requires the "Remote Table" feature which in turns requires a Data Provisioning Agent connection to the underlying HANA database.

Resolution

Install, connect and configure the "Data Provisioning Agent" for the connections in SAP Datasphere as described at:
