3473468 - "The <field-id> field has a different data type in your Job Application templates" when configuring new workbench filters - Recruiting Management

When configuring the filters to user in the new workbench, you see the following message: "The <field-id> field has a different data type in your Job Application templates"

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management 

This message is caused because on your job application template, the same field id was detected with more than one data-type. 

Example:

• Template A: field-id=abc type="text"
• Template B: field-id=abc type="textarea"

By the system design the validation that runs when you hit save is only based on field-id. 

Please evaluate on your business or implementation team if it's possible:

• To alter the field-id to avoid the matching again, using manage templates tool.
• Remove the "new" field, if you haven't save any data with this reference,

Please DO NOT alter the field-type, as this could cause a data corruption.
