Symptom

Unable to call a user from phone number on Spotlight view.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Employee Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for an employee profile in the Action Search.
  2. In the spotlight view, click on “Office” phone number, this number will be forwarded to Microsoft Teams. The following error message appears.
    “There was an issue finding the person you were trying to reach”
  3. From Employee Central profile record click on the phone number in the "Contact Information" portlet, Microsoft Teams will display the correct phone number.

Resolution

  • Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Workaround - From Employee Central profile record click on the phone number in the "Contact Information" portlet, Microsoft Teams will display the correct phone number.
