3474123 - Order WIP calculation is not according to expectation

You are working with BEI scenario. You calculate WIP for production order, and found the WIP value is not the same you see in Cost Analysis report.

WIP calculation is basing on Controlling Area currency by default. You should be able to change the display currency in Cost Analysis report to "Controlling Area Currency", then you should see the WIP value is equal to the result in KKAX.

Under KKAX, you have the option to set the flag Menu - Extra - Local Currency Changeover - Calculate Comp. Code Cur. Indep. After Local Cur. Changeover.

If you select this flag and calculate WIP, the WIP calculation will calculate WIP separately in different currencies. You should be able to get the desired value.

However, most of the time, it's wrong if there is difference between company code currency and controlling area currency, where the 2 currency types shares the same currency, (like EUR). You should find out in source documents why the difference happens. It's common issue when you change price for input material, you only changed for company code currency, but not for controlling area currency. You should correct this kind of error.
