3474167 - Manual Time Events in Pending/Declined/Cancelled/Pending Deletion status cannot be deleted

Manual Time Event in Pending or Declined or Cancelled or Pending Deletion status cannot be deleted from timesheet UI or Manage Clock In Clock Out.

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking - Clock In Clock Out

1. Employee clocks in via terminal / web / mobile, but forgets to clock out.
2. Employee then creates a clock out Manual Time Event, workflow is triggered for the creation of Manual Time Event. Clock Out Manual Time Event goes to Pending status and cannot be deleted from time sheet UI or Manage Clock In Clock Out.
   
3. Scenario A: manager declined Manual Time Event workflow, Clock Out Manual Time event goes to Declined status and cannot be deleted from time sheet UI or Manage CICO.
   
   Scenario B: employee withdrew Manual Time Event workflow, Clock Out Manual Time event goes to Cancelled status and cannot be deleted from time sheet UI or Manage CICO. 
   
   Scenario C: manager approved Manual Time Event workflow, Clock Out Manual Time event goes to Approved status.
   Then employee deleted the manual time event and triggered workflow, Clock Out Manual Time event goes to Pending Deletion status and cannot be deleted from time sheet UI or Manage CICO. 
   

Manual Time Event is in Pending or Declined or Cancelled or Pending Deletion status. 

• Only Approved status Manual Time Event can be deleted from timesheet UI and Manage Clock In Clock Out. 
• Time events with the status Pending / Declined / Cancelled / Pending Deletion can’t be deleted directly in the SuccessFactors system. 
• To delete Manual Time Events in Declined / Cancelled status, please use REST API according to KBA 3388522 - How to configure the Clock In Clock Out REST API for Deletion of Time Events?
• To delete Manual Time Events in Pending / Pending Deletion status, please complete the corresponding workflow first.
  If the workflow is not possible to complete, please file a new incident for LOD-SF-TTR-CICO to run the DB script and delete the time events.
