3474316 - Error "Cash discount not supported with partial payment"

For example:

A payment term is set in a customer's master data that if the customer pays within 15 days, they get a cash discount of 2%.

This customer's invoice amount is $1000 and they pay $100 in 15 days.

However, when posting a payment of $100 to clear this invoice with a 2% cash discount in the 'Post Incoming Payment' app, an error message appears stating "Cash discount not supported with partial payment".

Posting partial payment with a cash discount is not supported. Instead, the residual payment can be posted with a cash discount.
