3474659 - Sales Document Header Text not Visible in the Output

Symptom

Texts have been maintained under the "Text" tab in the sales document header. However, the texts are not visible in the output for this same document.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a sales document with texts maintained in the header.
  2. Go to the output page of this sales document.
  3. Select one of the output items and click "Display Document".
  4. The texts maintained in the document is not shown within the displayed output item.

Cause

The texts in the document are maintained in a different language than the language selected for the output document, e.g.,  the texts are maintained on the language "ZH" but the language selected for the output is "EN".

Resolution

The language of the documents' texts and the language selected for the output must be the same, e.g., if you want to output the document for the language "EN", the texts you want to show on the document must be also in "EN".
