After configuring Enable the Approver of a Reward and Recognition Award to Change the Award Amount, awards can be approved for a custom budget holder which causes an incorrect budget amount.

SAP SuccessFactors Rewards and Recognition

1. Create a spot award having a budget holder A and a workflow
2. Go to Configure Object Definition > Spot Award
3. Add a 'Save Rule' to set a custom budget holder B
4. Proxy as the approver and approve the Spot award
5. Check the budget reports for the program and the budget is deducted from budget holder B and not from A

This is a known issue. This happens only if customers have added a custom budget holder rule after creating the pending spot awards and during approval if they update the amount and then approve the award workflow.

The permanent fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2024 release (b2411).
