3474743 - "kafka: client has run out of available brokers to talk to" error when using Kafka Consumer

Symptom

  • graph with Kafka Consumer operator fails with below error:

  • The corresponding Kafka connection is using SAP Cloud Connector with the secure port (9094) and authentication with Kerberos.
