3474752 - Assign Task Observation - Add Observers

Users can add anyone as an observer in the Assign Task Observation feature, regardless of their authorization.

When users utilize the search function and perform a blank search, it correctly filters and displays only those authorized to teach. However, if they manually enter a User ID without using the search function, it appears to bypass this authorization check, allowing selection of users who are not authorized to teach.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Login into SuccessFactor Learning Administrator
2. Click on Manager User Learning -> Click on Assign Task Observation -> Add an Item
3. Click Step 2 -> Click on the Search function for Add Observers (do an Open search (Now only few users available to select)) -> Close search window
4. In the open search panel enter different user ID and select
5. Click Step 3

You will be able to allocate someone that is not authorised as observer.

This issue will be fixed in b2411 (2H 2024) release. Release dates can be found on the Community.
