3474953 - Manage Permission Role Change History Logs Missing

Symptom

  • Post instance refresh from production to preview not all RBP Change History logs are visible similar to production in Manager permission roles. 
  • Change History logs older than 180 days are not visible Manage Permission role in Preview instance.  

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  • Login to SuccessFactors Instance
  • Search Manage Permission Role
  • Click on View history of any permission role
  • Logs older than 180 days is not visible

Cause

Working as per design and this is an expected behavior. 

Resolution

Audit framework has an auto job to purge logs in preview environment and RBP role view history data is covered by this purge job. 

On the Data Retention Management's Auto Data Purge tab, the "Audit Data Without Personally Identifiable Information (retention period: 180 days)" is enabled by default for Preview instances.
