3474953 - Manage Permission Role Change History Logs are not visible

• After an instance refresh from Production to Preview, not all RBP Change History logs are visible in the Preview instance compared to Production when reviewing Manager Permission Roles.
• Specifically, change history logs older than 180 days are not displayed under Manage Permission Roles in the Preview environment.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Log in to the SAP SuccessFactors instance.
2. Navigate to Manage Permission Roles.
3. Select any permission role and click View History.
4. Observe that logs older than 180 days are not available.

This behavior is expected and works as designed.

The Audit Framework includes an automatic purge job for Preview environments, and the RBP Role View History data is included in this purge process.

Under Data Retention Management > Auto Data Purge, the option, "Audit Data Without Personally Identifiable Information (retention period: 180 days)" is enabled by default for Preview instances. As a result, audit logs older than 180 days are automatically removed from the Preview environment.
