When running the Post Valuation for a contract the error is raised:

Ledger for valuation rule could not be determined clearly

The Cloud Edition 2208 introduced the ledger as mandatory information for each valuation rule due to various other developments throughout finance components. In order to not maintain the ledger for all valuation rules, there is an automatic derivation that tries to get the relevant ledger from the accounting principle as most of the time this relationship will be unique.

The error RECERA016 is raised if there is no ledger assignment to the valuation rule.

To customize the missing ledger assignment go to Application Area: Finance >> Sub Application Area: Contract and Lease Management >> Contract Valuation >> Configure Valuation Rule (ID 102117) and enter Ledger 0L for LOCAL valuation rule and ledger 2L for rule IFRS.

The ledger can be entered on the detail screen of the valuation rule.

Please note that the above example is for the standard delivered content, where ledger 0L is the leading ledger with local Accounting principle, and ledger 2L is the non-leading ledger with IFRS. In case of different usage, different setting is required.
