Symptom
You have an onView rule configured in Compensation Information that sets a field visibility doesn't work in Compensation Information History.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a new field in BCUI > Compensation Information.
- Go to Manage Permission Roles > Select a Role > Grant only View Access to the newly created field.
- Go to Configure Business Rules > Create a business rule that sets field's visibility to Edit.
- Assign the rule in BCUI.
- Go to an Employee's Profile > Through Take Action & Pencil Icon, the field's visibility is set to Edit.
- However, click on History > Edit a record or Insert a New Record > Field's visibility is still View only.
Resolution
Engineering Team is investigating the issue and this KBA will be updated with fix details once available.
