Macros work as a text replacement in formulas. You can save a block of text within the macro policy which can then later be recalled and inserted into other formulas within a configuration. To place a macro into a formula use dollar signs both preceding and following the Macro Policy’s name (ex. a macro policy named EMPDATA is called by entering $EMPDATA$ in the formula box).
