3475748 - Error "Cannot get remote source objects: Could not get tables, Code: 403, SQL State: HY000"

An error occurs when validating SAP On-Premise or ABAP type connection in SAP Datasphere.

Connection "xxx" is valid, but not all features are available. - Data flows are enabled. - Remote tables can't be used because of errors in the connection.
Remote Tables: internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: Could not get tables, Code: 403, SQL State: HY000

SAP Datasphere

1. Go to Connections
2. Choose the connection to validate
3. Click on Validate button

The ABAP user specified in the credentials of the SAP ABAP connection needs to have a specific set of authorizations in the SAP ABAP system.

To resolve the issue, provide all necessary authorizations mentioned here. In addition to that make sure to meet all the prerequisites are met when creating a connection.
