3475798 - Company code currency in T001 and payroll currency in T500C(W) should be the same

Symptom

If a payroll currency doesn’t correspond to a local currency it will lead to the several issues. For example:

  • Wrong currency would be displayed as a local one in a pre-DME program log;
  • If New G/L (New General Ledger) is activated, it can lead to issues with different transactional currencies;
  • Zero balancing on accounting entity level cannot happen with different currencies;
  • Retro calculations with different currencies will lead to issues in determination of currency creating posting results;
  • Imbalance due to rounding issues in currency conversion.
