3476279 - An error on creating New Functional Location

When creating the New Functional Location an error: Contact PQR is not active is trigger.

SAP Cloud for Customer.

1. Go to the Installed Base work center.
2. Go to the Installation Point view.
3. Click on the + button, to create new installation point of category as Functional Location.
4. In the New Functional Location screen, enter customer as LMN (where LMN represent the account name).
5. Click on the Save button.
6. An error as Contact PQR is not active is trigger (where PQR represent contact name).

1. Go to the Customers work center.
2. Go to the Accounts view.
3. Search and open the account LMN and go to the Contact facet.
4. You can see the contact PQR is the main contact of account LMN and is with status as Obsolete

It is not allowed to create functional location with an obsolete/inactive contact for an account. If you want to create New Functional Location for an account LMN, you need to 1st activate its main contact PQR.

This is an expected system behavior.
