3476309 - Accessing Delta Capture Table gives error "The delta capture table <table name> is not allowed for consumption"

There is a local table with Delta Capture enabled and when trying to access the delta table in SQL View editor gives error "The delta capture table <table name> is not allowed for consumption"

SAP Datasphere

1. Create a local table with Delta Capture enabled. There is a delta table with the <table name>_Delta automatically created. 
2. Create a SQL view and try a select statement with the delta table and not the local table.

This is a documented restriction. Delta tables can only be used in Transformation Flows, Replication Flows and table editor with specific criteria. Check link Capturing Delta Changes in your Local Table . It is not available for creation of view.
