3476311 - Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory, Unknown system variable - SAP HANA Smart Data Integration

Symptom

While testing a CamelJdbcAdapter connection to MySQL, an error including "Unknown system variable" is logged in the framework.trc file. "nullCatalogMeansCurrent" is used as an example throughout this KBA, but there is no limit to the possible values that would appear as the "Unknown system variable" since it depends on user input.

  • JdbcMetadataBrowser | ExceptionUtil.newAdapterException [] - Failed to query schemas. org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (Unknown system variable 'nullCatalogMeansCurrent')
