3476333 - Duplicate Check For Leads With Identical Email ID Does Not Work


Duplicate check for leads does not work with identical Email ID.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales work center.
  2. Go to Leads work center view.
  3. Click on + to create Lead.
  4. Enter email Id, which is an email ID existing in 3 leads already.
  5. Click on "Check for Duplicates".
  6. Scroll down to section "Lead Duplicate Check".
  7. No data reflected in Duplicate Check Results.


Configuration in Fine tuning activity for Lead duplicate check does not have Email ID as available option, hence system does not consider/show results based on duplicate check for leads with identical email.


Email ID is not considered in duplicate check for Leads, which is current behaviour in C4C.
