3476357 - Cannot set Employer contribution value via rule scenario for Deductible Allowance - 1H2024

Employer contribution cannot be set via Contribution rule created using rule scenario : "Determine Employee Contribution for Deductible Allowance" and there is no other scenario like "Determine Employer Contribution for Deductible Allowance"

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central : Employee Benefits

1. Go to Configure Business Rules
2. Benefits Management
3. We can only find 1 Rule Scenario for Contribution on Deductible Allowance: 'Determine Employee Contribution for Deductible Allowance'
4. In the edit window, we cannot SET Employer Contribution value, we can only select Employee Contribution

Engineering is investigating the issue.

The KBA will be updated with progress from engineering as we find more from them.

Workaround: We can use basic rules to set Employer and Employee contributions until then. To get a basic rule created, you can locate any existing basic rule with benefit base object and create a copy of it and modify as per needs.
