3476387 - Difference between download functionality in Maintain Business Roles and Maintain Business Users Apps

The Excel formats downloaded in "Display Changes" button in Maintain Business Roles and Maintain Business Users apps are different. 

In Maintain Business Users, this report allows to download the file only in csv type, while Maintain Business Roles asks you on which format do you want to download: csv or xlsx.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We switched to the Fiori Standard Tables and these only supports XLS.  With the next release it will be the same for the Business User.

Here we can only support what UI5/Fioiri provides.

 

You can download both reports as csv or if you want to have the report as xlsx, there's a blog explaning how you can easily convert from csv to xlsx. Kindly check Microsoft Support - Import or export text (.txt or .csv) files.
