Implement the SAP Note 2166986 - STRING and RAW data types in SAP Data Services
If the version of component PI_BASIS is too low to implement above note, please refer to the solution 3 of SAP Note 1916294 - Upgrading SAP System fails with issues from /BODS functions to resolve the issue.
