3476477 - SuccessFactors Employee Time Sheet UI calendar color display logic

This KBA explains the logic of displaying employee time sheet UI calendar in different colors. Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Overall, in Recording Overview, Time Sheet calendar day can be marked with below colors:
Refer to below screenshot A.

• Dark grey: Non-working Days.
• Light grey: Working Days.
• Blue: selected time sheet period.
• Black: Public holidays.
• Green: Full-Day Absences in status 'Pending Approval' or 'Approved'.
• Red: Time Sheet Weeks which need attention:
  1. The time sheet status is 'Declined'.
  2. The time sheet is in the past and status is 'To Be Submitted'.
  3. The time sheet is in the past and status is 'To Be Approved'. 

Further, below overwrite logic is followed:  

• Attention Required has higher priority than other status.
  For example, see July 11th is a Public Holiday, it should be marked with black like July 25, but week July 7 - 13 is in the past and in "To Be Submitted" status, hence "Attention Required" overwrites July 11th with Red. Refer to screenshot A. 

• Full-day Absence overwrites Public Holidays.
  For example, employee requested absence from July 24 - 26, hence Public Holiday July 25 is overwritten with "Full-day Absence" and display in Green color. Refer to below screenshot B.
  

• Selected overwrites Working Days/Non-Working Days.
  For example, non-working day July 21 should be marked with dark grey, when select week July 21 - 27, July 21st is overwritten with "Selected period" and display in Blue. Refer to above screenshot B.
