3476717 - Replenishment gives error "Stock type is not defined" /SCWM/WM_SEL070

Symptom

Transaction /SCWM/REPL is run for replenishment. Despite having enough stock to pull for the replenishment, no Warehouse Tasks (WTs) are created. The replenishment log shows errors:
"Stock type  is not defined" (Message No. /SCWM/WM_SEL070)
"System could not determine source storage bin" (Message No. /SCWM/L3008)
