Resolution
Why migrate to the Common Super Domain?
To mitigate potential issues by major browsers’ deprecation of 3rd party cookies (refer to the Platform documentation on CSD and Impact of third-party cookies deprecation on SAP SuccessFactors - Innovation Alert for more details)
Which Recruiting features are affected by the migration to the Common Super Domain and how?
Internal Career Site powered by CSB (ICS) is affected because it leverages IAS and IAS itself is affected.
Post migration, the various ICS workflows would be affected such as navigating to the Internal Career Site (Careers) from Bizx or authenticating from the RMK site via the Employee login option.
What actions are customers required to take to ensure the expected workflow is restored?
With the CSD migration the IAS tenant changes from XXX.accounts.ondemand.com to XXX.accounts.cloud.sap
Customers must therefore:
- Set the new IAS Tenant Name in Career Site Builder > Settings > IDP Configuration
- Set the new IAS Tenant Name in Admin Center > Manage Service Provider Configuration for Identity Authentication Service (IAS)
- Generate a new certificate in CSB > IDP configuration
- Import the new certificate into the IAS console.
Note if IAS is a proxy to a corporate Identity Provider (IdP), customer will need to add a new Assertion Consumer Service endpoint for IAS within the corporate IdP.
