Known Issues:

Scenario 1: New Hire receives Application Error during data collection

1. Error "Looks like something went wrong" is displayed when Dependents Information is deleted from Personal Information Portlet
2. Error "Event/Event Reason is not available" is displayed when the start date is changed during the data review process
3. Blank Error/Application Error received because of workflow rules triggered during onboarding process
4. National Id/Person Id is not visible during the data review step and you receive an error stating "Not nullable "NATIONAL_ID"/"PERSON_ID" column" 
5. Application Error received when the start date is updated in Manage Pending Hire
6. If the Pay Component is updated during the data review step, application error is received
7. Customer is not providing the value in the UI, there is a business rule in place to hide the fields due to which the system throws an application error

Scenario 2: Rehire receives Application Error during data collection

1. Application Error received when completing Rehire with New Employment as the visibility in the PER_PERSON table is being set to blank 
2. Application Error received if there is a difference in the start date between Process (Target Date) and Job Information Start Date

Scenario 3: Application Error common to all candidates

1. Emergency Contact without name & relationship added in the EC Tables causing application error

Centralized services is an umbrella term for a collection of specialized services governing different processes in Employee Central. Centralized services is a framework that acts as a common platform supporting various features in Employee Central, to bring consistency without compromising on quality. The enhanced data review process for Manage Pending Hires, Personal Data Collection, and New Hire Data Review steps in Onboarding leverages the functionalities of Centralized Services in Employee Central to improve consistency in system behavior, validations, and functionalities across UIs and APIs. Resolution to the Known Issues:

Scenario 1: New Hire receives Application Error during data collection

1. Issue has been fixed by the Engineering Team. Fix Date:
   Preview: May 28th 2024; Production: May 31st 2024
2. This is a behavioral change due to the introduction of Centralized Services. Reference KBA: https://me.sap.com/notes/3472539/E

Scenario 2: Rehire receives Application Error during data collection

1. The issue has been fixed by the Engineering Team. Fix Date:
   Preview: June 11th 2024; Production: June 14th 2024
2. As per the standard process, the start date in ONB2Process and Job Information should remain the same. This is a standard validation. Please update the start date and continue the hiring process.

Scenario 3: Application Error common to all candidates

1. Issue is currently being investigated by the Engineering Team

NOTE: 

While the Enhancements to Data Review Processes Now Automatically Enabled WNV states that SL is generally available in production post 2405, however, it has been temporarily disabled effective date 30th May due to data collection errors reported by customers.  
We're working on fixing the issues and will ensure that it generally available at the earliest.
