3477669 - AIF - Traces show AIF activity although there is no AIF scenario deployed in the system

Symptom

Traces show activity in AIF classes during RFC calls. Records in transaction SM50 or ST03N or /SDF/MON indicate that AIF related code is used.

For example the function module

  • AIF_RELEVANT_AND_PROCESSING,
  • Or/AIF/NOTIFY_IDOC_STATUS,
  • Or the class CL_QRFC_AIF_ADAPTER is shown in the traces.

This behavior can be witnessed even if no AIF related customizing has been been activated in the system. Transaction /AIF/SETUP, /AIF/CUST, /AIF/ERR, /AIF/IFMON have never been used.
