Symptom

Can the hiring manager’s contact details be edited or removed from the "Welcome Message" card received by an external candidate?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in as an external candidate.
  2. Open the Welcome Message card.
  3. Notice that the hiring manager’s contact details are displayed.

Cause

This is expected system behavior.

Resolution

With the introduction of the New Homepage, the hiring manager’s contact details cannot be removed from the "Welcome Message" card sent to external candidates. By default, the card will always display the contact information of the assigned hiring manager.
