3478491 - The Error "Partner function "XX" is not available at level Purchasing organization in schema" is raised in SAP S/4HANA Cloud

• While trying to change the account group of a Business Partner the error message "Partner function "XX" is not available at level Purchasing organization in schema" is raised.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Open a supplier BP in the Maintain Business Partner app.
2. Navigate to the Vendor General Data tab in display mode.
3. Press the "Maintain Acc.Grp." button.
4. Select the new account group. If the new account is missing from the list, enter it manually and press enter.
5. The error "Partner function "XX" is not available at level Purchasing organization in schema" is raised.

The account group does not have a partner schema that allows for the same partner functions as the original account group.

1. Open the configuration activity 103129 - Define Permissible Partner Roles per Account Group.
2. Assign a partner schema to the account group.
3. If the new account group already has a partner schema assigned to it check the configuration activity 103125 - Define Partner Schemas in Supplier Master Record to make sure the partner function from the error is allowed in the schema of the new account group.
