3478509 - When Searching for Local Data Type Name "RegionCode" Under "Code List Mapping Definition", There Is No Results

Symptom

When you are trying to configure the Code List Mapping Definition, you cannot find Local Data Type Name "RegionCode" when using the search bar.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Search for the activity "Code List Mapping for Integration with External Applications and Solutions".
  3. Click on the hyperlink "Maintain Code List Mapping".
  4. At "Code List Mapping Definition", click in "Add row".
  5. Under "Mapping Group" field, type the desired mapping group (standard or custom).
  6. Under "Local Data Type Name", use the search bar for "Region" or "RegionCode" or "regioncode" and see that there are no results.

Cause

The "Local Data Type Name" search bar is case sensitive and must be written between stars (asterisks).

Resolution

Please make sure the "Local Data Type Name" is properly capitalized and set between stars/asterisks in the search bar (as *RegionCode*). This works as well for other Local Data Types.
