3478928 - Validation Error when uploading an image to the item thumbnail

When the admin is uploading an image to the item thumbnail, the system throws the error:

"Validation Error
Please correct the following errors before proceeding:
The file size exceeds the maximum allowed (100 KB)."

To increase the maximum size for attachments:

1. Access Learning Administration >
2. Go to System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration >
3. Search for the Configuration ID "IMAGE_ATTACHMENT" and click on edit icon (pencil) > 
4. Search for flag "imageMaximumSizePerAttachmentKB" >
5. Modify the value according to your requirements >
6. Apply Changes >
7. Re-upload the image.
