3478933 - Unable to make Amount Field as Non-Mandatory in External Learning Request

We would like to make the Amount Field as Non-Mandatory in External Learning Request as this field is not required for some Users.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Go to Learning Administration
2. Configuration
3. External learning request
4. In the Section C, uncheck on mandatory box of the field Amount
5. Now Go to Create a new request of External Learning Request
6. Select any User ID and observe that Amount field is still been made as Mandatory with asterisk symbol
7. Try to save it without entering any value, it throws an error to fill the mandatory required fields even though the field is unchecked in the External learning request and made as non mandatory.

Working as per System Design. By default configuration, the Amount fields would be displayed and would be mandatory.

The Tuition - Amount, Books or Materials - Amount, Travel - Amount, Per Diem- Amount fields in the External Request Form are displayed by default and are also Mandatory by default. The User cannot configure them. That is why you see a 'Yes' for these fields under Display Mandatory.

Also note:  The first checkbox is for displaying the field in the form and the second checkbox is for making the field mandatory in the form.
