3478955 - Requested object E_ACCCOSTRATE is currently locked by user

Symptom

When processing cost rate mass creation via custom job, error 'Requested object E_ACCCOSTRATE is currently locked by user' raised.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

Data locking is a standard behavior to avoid inconsistencies in a database, it is by design.

Resolution

It's planned to enhance the lock object with a Personnel Number and some other fields.
As this is a feature request, it's planned to be delivered in the next release 2408.
This should make the lock more specific, and it should not lock too many objects.
