3478972 - Error Message When Accessing Talent Search Settings

An error message is shown when trying to access the Talent Search Settings page.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

1. Go to Admin Center > Talent Search Settings.
2. An error message is displayed.

The effected user(s) are missing permissions which are defined through Admin Center > Role Based Permissions.

For Admin access to the Talent Search settings:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles.
2. Select the desired role.
3. Select Permission Settings.
4. Go to Administrator Permissions > Manage System Properties, and select Talent Search Management.
5. User Permissions > Growth Portfolio >Growth Portfolio > and select View permission (Note: only applicable if Growth Portfolio feature is enabled).
6. Select Done and save the changes.
7. Log out and back in to see the changes reflected in the system. Admin will now have access to the Talent Search settings in Admin Center.

Note: If you don't want to give Growth Portfolio permission to users, we would suggest to grant "Proficiency Level Scale" at least.
