3479083 - SAC- To show data locking information, unsupported filters need to be removed: Advanced Filters

When using Advanced filtering for cost centers that have a specific flag from master data, the native tools in SAC cannot properly display data locking in the table.

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD

1. Open Analytic application/story
2. In the edit mode go to the properties of the tables (any of them on the page) and and under Show/Hide section Data locks which were enabled are now greyed out with following message: "To show data locking information, unsupported filters need to be removed: Advanced Filters"

This is a limitation in the data locks.

Advanced filters, particularly non-Cartesian Advanced filters, are not supported for displaying data locking icons and setting data locking-based input enablement in the story.

**Additional Remarks**

• The data locks validation on publish is not affected by this limitation. All changes made to locked data will be rejected as expected.
• Users can enable Data Locking-based Data Disaggregation in the model and on the table widget. Although the input enablement flags indicating whether a cell is editable or not will still be missing, an error message will appear if data is entered into a locked cell, preventing it. This ensures that no data is written in locked areas and cannot be published later, even though the user experience will differ from when Advanced Filters are not present.
• Removing this limitation is on the roadmap, but a timeline for its completion cannot be provided at this stage.
