3479226 - How to handle HANA Alert 148: 'TLS not configured for external communication (ODBC/JDBC)'

Symptom

After an update of Hana Database the following alert is observed:

148 - TLS not configured for external communication (ODBC/JDBC)
Description:    
The SQL Port for external communication of ODBC/JDBC connections is not properly configured for TLS. Secured connections are not possible.
User Action:
Configure TLS for external communication by creating a certificate collection with the purpose SSL and providing a certificate. See SAP Note 2487639.
